Banana Bread Cinnamon Rolls

Prep Time: 30 minutes


Ingredients:

4 large ripe bananas, mashed 🍌

1 cup warm water 💧

2 tsp active dry yeast 🐟

3 tbsp granulated sugar 🍮

4 cups all-purpose flour 🌾

1 tsp salt 💸

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted 🥖

1/2 cup cinnamon sugar (1/2 cup granulated sugar + 2 tbsp ground cinnamon) ❗️

1/2 cup brown sugar 🍮

2 eggs, beaten 🥚

Cream cheese frosting (optional) 🎂


Preparation Steps:

1️⃣ Activate yeast: Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes until frothy. 🐟

2️⃣ Combine dry ingredients: Whisk flour, salt, and cinnamon. 🌾

3️⃣ Mix wet ingredients: Combine mashed bananas, melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture. 🍌

4️⃣ Combine wet and dry ingredients: Mix until a dough forms. 🌈

5️⃣ Knead: Knead for 10 minutes until smooth. 🏋️‍♀️

6️⃣ Roll out: Roll into a large rectangle. 📋

7️⃣ Spread cinnamon sugar: Evenly spread cinnamon sugar mixture. ❗️

8️⃣ Roll up: Roll into a tight log. 📦

9️⃣ Cut: Cut into 12-15 rolls. 🎂

1️⃣0️⃣ Bake: Bake at 375°F for 18-20 minutes. 🔪


Notes and Tips:

Use overripe bananas for the best flavor.

Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

Use a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment for easier kneading.

If using cream cheese frosting, spread on warm rolls.
